Refund & Return Policy

At The HomeTech Express, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to resolve it fairly and transparently.

1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return or refund if:

  • The item is defective, damaged, or not working as described

  • The wrong item was sent

  • The item arrived damaged

  • You changed your mind (conditions apply — see below)

2. Return Window

  • Return requests must be made within 30 days of delivery

  • Requests submitted after 30 days may not be eligible

3. Condition of Returned Items

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in the same condition as received

  • Items must include original packaging, accessories, manuals, and parts

  • Proof of purchase is required

We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of misuse, modification, or excessive wear.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-refundable, unless defective or damaged on arrival:

  • Clearance or final-sale items (clearly marked)

  • Gift cards or digital products

  • Software or digital licenses once activated

  • Items damaged due to misuse, neglect, or improper installation

5. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery

  • Be prepared to provide photos or videos showing the issue

We will offer, at our discretion:

  • A replacement, or

  • A full refund (including return shipping, if applicable)

6. Return Shipping

  • If the return is due to our error, we cover return shipping

  • Change-of-mind returns are responsible for return shipping costs

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law

7. Refund Processing

  • Returns are inspected upon receipt

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Processing typically takes 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider

8. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
